Jaidon Domenic Matthew Brooks, known professionally as Jai Brooks, was born on May 3, 1995, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is of Italian-Australian descent and grew up alongside his twin brother, Luke Brooks, and older brother, Beau Brooks. The trio shared a close bond and a mutual passion for entertainment, which would later become the foundation for their collaborative ventures in the digital space.​

Rise to Fame with The Janoskians

In 2011, Jai, along with his brothers Beau and Luke, and friends Daniel Sahyounie and James Yammouni, formed the YouTube comedy group The Janoskians—an acronym for "Just Another Name Of Silly Kids In Another Nation." The group quickly gained popularity for their outrageous pranks, daring stunts, and comedic skits, amassing over 2.35 million subscribers on their YouTube channel. Their content resonated with a global audience, leading to international tours and a dedicated fanbase known as "Janoskianators." 

Musical Endeavors and Acting Pursuits

Beyond their YouTube success, The Janoskians ventured into music, signing with Sony Music Australia in 2012. They released several singles, including "Set This World on Fire" and "Best Friends," which charted in Australia and New Zealand. Jai's involvement in music extended to appearances in music videos, such as Jay Sean's "Where You Are" in 2013. He also showcased his acting skills in projects like "Lauren Against the Internet" (2016) and the feature film "Public Disturbance" (2018), further diversifying his portfolio in the entertainment industry. ​
